“Beatiful hotel/villa in an interesting part of Belgrade”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2010

Admiral club is a beatiful villa with fantastic room, very good breakfast (no rushy buffet you are served at te table...) Personnel is great. Its location is a bit away from other hotels but in fact very close to the city centre and some for the best restaurants, bars and clubs in town. Price is high but as a company you might get a good discount. Definately a very nice alternative to more unpersonal choices like the Hyatt.

“Fantastic hotel; service, staff, rooms, breakfast.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2009

A very personal hotel. The rooms are luxerious, the staff is very nice, helpful and serviceminded. The breakfast is delicious. Walkingdistance to the center of the city. If you want to take a taxi it costs about 300 dinarer. Avoid private taxis they cost 3 times more.

“Worst customer service ever...”

One would never expect this from such a incredible looking place, but the service was appalling. I should have known better as E-mail correspondence was taking for ever. I mean their response time was something like 3 days but I had clients with me so I had not choice!!! So I guess, if you can stomach the cold and very arrogant management, then this is your place. Shame really as it is stunning and the food is excellent.

“Nice but where is everyone?!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2008

We stayed at the Admiral Club over the New Year and as previous reviews have stated it is a lovely hotel and centrally located. Our bedroom (005) was on the ground floor and was huge, with a nice modern bathroom. Everything was spotless.

We ate in the restaurant the first night and although the food was fine, no other diner was in the room and so the atmosphere was decidedly lacking. In fact (despite being told the hotel was fully booked) we did not see another guest for the duration of our stay.

The staff were very friendly but my only complaint would be that one night we were only told at 7.45pm that the restaurant was shutting early at 8pm and that the chef had already left. It was snowing heavily outside and we had to trudge out again to try and find somewhere else in town at the last minute (it was New Year's day and most places were shut or by now fully booked).

Despite the above, all in all this was a nice place to stay and I would have no problem in going back there again.

  • Liked — Large, well-equipped rooms
  • Disliked — lack of atmosphere in restaurant

“Excellent hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2007

Just returned from 5-night stay at the Hotel Admiral Club in Belgrade. The hotel is truly beautiful, and our room (201, queen size bed, non smoking) was huge, with an equally impressive large bathroom. The hotel has been opended less than a year, and everything felt new and is very well maintained. Very comfortable bed. The room and hotel generally were spotlessly clean, the staff competent and friendly. Service generally was great. The breakfasts were wonderful too, everything freshly prepared. As a vegetarian I found the choice for lunch and dinner limited but that is not unsual for the country / city. You simply order what you fancy based on what is available from the menu (ie make up your own dish); this worked well wherever we ate. Smoking is allowed in the hotel but due to high ceilings & very large restaurant space this was not a problem (out of 5 mornings, only twice were there smokers at the same time in breakfast 'garden'). Other guests were mainly (all?) business travellers.
Transfer to the airport was arranged by the hotel (it cost 1,320 Dinar, presumably included a 10% hotel fee), they simply added it to our bill. It is worth doing this as other taxis are hit and miss, in terms of state of vehicle / smoking drivers.
The hotel is located a short 10 minute walk to the city centre (or a short 150 dinar taxi ride, just over £1).

  • Liked — Size and comfort of room.
