Just returned from 5-night stay at the Hotel Admiral Club in Belgrade. The hotel is truly beautiful, and our room (201, queen size bed, non smoking) was huge, with an equally impressive large bathroom. The hotel has been opended less than a year, and everything felt new and is very well maintained. Very comfortable bed. The room and hotel generally were spotlessly clean, the staff competent and friendly. Service generally was great. The breakfasts were wonderful too, everything freshly prepared. As a vegetarian I found the choice for lunch and dinner limited but that is not unsual for the country / city. You simply order what you fancy based on what is available from the menu (ie make up your own dish); this worked well wherever we ate. Smoking is allowed in the hotel but due to high ceilings & very large restaurant space this was not a problem (out of 5 mornings, only twice were there smokers at the same time in breakfast 'garden'). Other guests were mainly (all?) business travellers.
Transfer to the airport was arranged by the hotel (it cost 1,320 Dinar, presumably included a 10% hotel fee), they simply added it to our bill. It is worth doing this as other taxis are hit and miss, in terms of state of vehicle / smoking drivers.
The hotel is located a short 10 minute walk to the city centre (or a short 150 dinar taxi ride, just over £1).
