“Nice hotel in the heart of Belgrade”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

We stayed there only for one night but it was good experience.
Location is great, just a few mins form very heart of Belgrade.
Hotel is newly refurbished, so everything is spotless clean and new.
Breakfast is buffet style, not very rich, but still very good.
Hotel owns few parking places in private parking. You pay for that too, but since finding parking place in the center of the city is very hard, it is right thing to do.
Service was good, but not very friendly.

“Fine location and professional service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

It was nice time spent in Belgrade downtown, this old hotel is recently refurbished and it is now a decent place in walking distance of pedestrian zone and the very center of Belgrade. Rooms are clear, modern furniture is comfortable and wireless is free and strong (like local slivovitch brandy is). Staff is friendly, professional and excellent English speaker. Enjoy staying over there!

Room Tip: no need to think about it

“Perfect location”

Perfectly situated in Belgrade heart, close to every important point of this city... but foreign tourists sometimes forget that Serbia is not running things like on the West. You can not ask the staff to use the computer or expect something extra because, simply, they are not allowed to use phones, faxes, computers for anything else but business communication with their business partners! Breakfast is nothing special and you have a choice of tea and white coffee... ham and eggs or just eggs with cheese... anything else and you pay extra!

Room Tip: english of the staff is not bad... but if you have Serbian friend it could be an advantage to get le...

“Great hotel and location but very poor service and staff attitudes.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011 via mobile

The hotel itself is good as it is clean and in a great location although the rooms are small. However the major disappointment was the poor service and attitudes of the staff working here. On one occasion I went to the front desk to ask if I could use a computer to print out a flight itinerary and was told bluntly 'I can't help you'. I found this extremely strange as I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never got a blunt I can't help without another suggestion given- the premise of good customer service. Upon insisting it was important I got told by the blonde staff member that if I was willing to pay her 50 euros I could use the computer once. She then stormed away from the counter. I again attempted to ask the question of where I could print my flight itinerary and the other brunette staff member just said "I don't know". A redeeming staff member would be Olga who didn't know anything but tried to ask or Google the answers.

I wouldn't stay here again and I actually found the staff at the Life Design hotel around the corner could provide the good service required from a hotel.

“A cosy newly rennovated hotel in downtown Belgrade”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and absolutely loved it ! Its small, cosy and location is great! Staff very helpful, breakfast and dinner was good. Smokers and non-smokers rooms available. Wi-fi is not in all rooms but there is an available cable in each room.

Room Tip: I read from our reviewers that upper floors are recommended, but didn't feel a need for that.
