If you're booking at the last minute during peak season, you're likely to find that this is one of the only cheap, central options with available rooms. It's very large, and rarely over-booked. By the looks of this things, this hotel hasn't had a makeover since the 1980s at the latest. Everything's faded and battered and barely holding together. The creaky old air conditioning system is one of the oldest I've ever seen. The wi-fi is free but patchy - you may find you can't get a signal in your room and have to go down to the lobby. But the location is great and the price is moderate. Next door is a cafe doing a wide variety of smoothies. If you're booking well in advance, you can probably find something better than this.
