“Excellent stay in the Hyatt in Belgrade”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

I wasn't planning to go to Belgrade but a cancelled flight to Montenegro sent me there. I booked into the Hyatt and was very pleasantly surprised at the hotel. First impressions are excellent with a huge lobby which welcomes you as you climb the steps from the entrance. The check-in staff were very friendly and efficient - they remembered my friend from a previous stay 2 years ago.

We were given rooms on the 7th and 8th floor respectively - which was their Club Level. There is a small lounge where they serve drinks and an excellent breakfast. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a separate glass shower and good-sized bath. I also had a drink at two of the bars and in both the service and decor were excellent. Reading other reviews I'm sorry that I didn't have time to visit the spa - I'll look forward to this for my next visit.

All in all - an excellent hotel in Belgrade. It was rather cold and snowy so I didn't venture out as much as I would have liked.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for the Club level on floors 7 & 8. It is very quiet and peaceful.

Been there twice once in 2007 and again last year. Last time I found it a bit tired but still the best hotel in Belgrade by far.

I didn't stay in the hotel but enjoyed a wonderful spa afternoon with a friend. Fabulous massage, great value, friendly staff and the facilities included a steam room/sauna and complimentary fruits teas.
Wish we had booked a room!

“Don't let location in new part of city discourage you from staying”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

Stayed 3 nights for fun in November and was glad to have picked this hotel. Sadly the weather didn't cooperate (freezing cold and foggy) so it was nice to be in a modern hotel with a nice health club in the lower level. The hotel upgraded us to a suite that was recently renovated. Really modern residential look/feel. Not sure if all rooms are being renovated, but try to request one upon check-in.

Besides the room, another highlight were the massages in the spa. The price was very reasonable and the therapists are really professional.

We braved the cold and walked from the hotel across the bridge to the old city. Brisk to say the least, but in the summer it would have been a pleasant walk. There is a huge shopping mall across from the hotel that offered all of the same shopping as along Knez Mihailova Street (pedestrian shopping street in old town) which is nice if you also visit in cold weather. In the summer I imagine people enjoy outdoor cafes, etc...but in cold weather we enjoyed a long lunch at Lula Restaurant in Belgrade center. Side note - there are plenty of taxis available at the hotel and the price is not expensive.

We worked with Ana (I think that was her name) at the front desk/concierge - great source of information. She was so proud of her city and would do whatever she could to secure dinner reservations/make suggestions. So helpful. Our final night we ate outside the hotel at Zaplet restaurant. It was a wonderful recommendation. Very modern space, delicious food and wine, and helpful staff. Actually, everyone in the hotel and at the restaurants/bars we visited were extremely friendly. Only suggestion - Visit in Summertime if at all possible.
