“Awesome customer service”

I recently stayed here while visiting Bucharest for a few days. There was a lot of construction on the street, but overall, this hotel was wonderful. It was small, quaint, clean, quiet, and in a very central location (within 10-12 minute walking distance of Old Town). The receptionist/front desk staff were extremely helpful and really went out of your way to assist you and make you feel welcome. The room was clean, and I was really pleasantly surprised. Definitely the most bang for your buck here, compared to really expensive hotels just a few blocks away. I felt really safe in the area also. Thanks for a great stay!

“Quiet and comfortable hotel in a good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

This is a recently refurbished hotel in a quiet and convenient location (opposite Cismigiu Park, about 10 minutes walk from Piata Universitatii). The room was surprisingly large, clean and with a comfortable bed. The weather was very hot while I was there but the air conditioning was fit for purpose (not always the case) and kept the room cool. There’s also free wi-fi. Breakfast was unexceptional but certainly tasty. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. The hotel was reasonably priced – in fact I thought it was exceptional value for money. Bear in mind that it’s a 3 star hotel so if you want 4 star standards go to a 4 star hotel.

There were a few let-downs during my stay: the bathroom bin wasn’t emptied until the second day of my stay so I found the previous guest’s toothbrush in my bin. And there was a half-drunk bottle of mineral water in the fridge – I threw it away but was still charged for it when I left! These were irritations but overall this was a good hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The staff in this hotel are extremely courteous, very friendly and very helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here and to be surrounded by such beautiful reception staff.

When I visit Romania again, I will definitely stay here - but next time for longer :)

“Nice Olace to Stay in Bucharest”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

We were looking for a nice place to stay close to the main attractions in Bucharest - one that was not tied into big North American or other such hotel chains - one that was Romainian in character. Hotel Trianon fit the bill nicely. It is not pretentious and certainly is not in a fancy area. However, the hotel is quite well set up and is clean. The staff are helpful - the rooms are small but quiet and our bed was comfortable. There is a restuarant attached which serves a good breakfast - we had dinner there one night and the food was good.

Room Tip: Pick one if you can facing the street.

“Comfort and relax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

Close to the most relaxing parc in the heart of Bucharest the hotel offers comfortable rooms.
At the entrance the receptionists always seem to be in a good mood, but not only that. After having greet you they execute the formalities quick and friendly.
The rooms are proper, the beds are good and the bathroom has what a bathroom should have. And everything works (which is certain not always the case in Romania, also in higher ranked hotels).
It's always good to come back.
