Le Boutique Hotel Moxa is a very conveniently located hotel in the heart of Bucharest, close to the Royal Palace now National Art Museum (few yards down Calea Victoriei), the Central University Library and the city's main boulevard and National Theatre.
As noted by other reviewers, the hotel features some bizarre items, such as the Rolls Royce parked just outside the entrance, probably left there to impress the viewers, but it's quiet and cosy overall.
The double room I was given was a bit smallish, but it was provided with a comfortable queen-size bed and some basic facilities (minibar, satellite tv, hairdryer etc.). The room was cleaned every day. It was overheated, though, and I had to open the window to let in some fresh air (despite a funny sign saying that windows should not be opened otherwise "bugs" would enter the room; but there were no bugs in sight at that time of the year). The bathroom was smallish too, but the shower worked fine, with plenty of hot water.
The breakfast (and waiting) room is rather small, and occasionally I had to wait a little for a free table. The breakfast itself was excellent, with a good choice of croissants, cakes and jams, as well as ham, cheese and hot food.
The hotel staff is friendly and speaks English, but make sure they do understand your instructions if they are important (such as the time you need the taxi to the airport).
The hotel is made of two blocks united by a corridor. I was given a room in the main block above the entrance; I'm not sure of the quality of the other block's rooms, if in doubt you've better inspect.
The wi-fi didn't work well in the room, but was excellent in the reception and waiting room.
There's a gym and sauna which I didn't use but I was told it is well equipped.
If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room far from the lift and the staircase, otherwise you'd get some noise from downstairs and from the lift itself.
I'd say the Moxa hotel is very good value for Bucharest's standards.
Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building, far from the lift and stairs.

Dear Mr. Enrets,
Thank you for your review.
We appreciate you positive and constructive feedback.
We would like to take this opportunity to explain you more about our hotel.
We are happy you have noticed our General Manager’s car in front of the hotel. Indeed it is for private use and also it offers a nice and luxurious atmosphere to the hotel.
Also the hotel is composed of two buildings: the original one in which you were accommodated, steel-glass modern building and the new one in Calea Victoriei, having Executive rooms and a more classic appearance. The two are connected with our beautiful patio.
We are glad that you have found the room fully equipped and, although smallish for your taste, still everything was OK and you have enjoyed your stay.
In what regards the breakfast, we are sorry that sometimes you have to wait for a free table. Probably it happened to be a very crowded breakfast day. We are sure that my colleagues have taken care of you after you were seated and I am happy that you found the breakfast itself as excellent.
We would like to end by assuring you that all our staff is doing their best in order to make guest feel like Le Boutique Hotel Moxa offers them a personalized service so they can feel as the hotel is their home.
Please note that we would be very happy to meet you on your next trip to Bucharest and to offer you a full visit of our venue. We are looking forward to welcome you back.
Kindest regards,
