My stay at Ramada H&S Bucharest North was great! The location was perfect, close enough to the airport and also to the city center-only 10 minutes by car. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The Deluxe Room was beautifully decorated as the rest of the hotel, I felt at home, peaceful and comfortable. I ate two evening meals in the restaurant... very nice Christmas atmosphere to match the well served and very tasty Christmas menu. The breakfast buffets were kept topped up at all times and had a very full range of hot and cold foods. I wish I would be there again.

Stayed here for three nights on a business trip. I was on my own so the excellent restaurant suited me perfectly.

The room is a decent size, quite basic but almost all you need. It has a mini-bar but no tea-making facilities. I did the find the TV to be unwatchable as all the English language channels either had no sound or kept cutting out every 20 seconds or so.

The bathroom provided soap bars but no shampoo or conditioner - instead a shower gel and a shampoo dispenser was screwed to the wall by the bath - Ugh! This sends such a negative message, and in these days of liquids in bags for security, really lets the traveller down.

Free wifi, charming and friendly front desk and efficient and welcoming restaurant staff, really made the difference for me. Breakfast is good range of hot and cold on a buffet. I thought the dinner main courses came so quickly, I couldn't be sure they hadn't just micro-waved them, but they tasted fine, if a bit heavy.

I would definitely come back

Ramada North is a great business hotel, which I would recommend without a doubt for the great service, exceptional cleanliness and friendly staff. During my stay, I had some troubles with the internet connection, but the staff was able to help me. It seems that the Wifi is only available in the new building of the hotel and in the lobby, while in the older wings one can get online only using a cable (provided by the hotel). Both options are available free of charge and once online the connection was very good.

I stayed in Ramada North last month during my visit to Bucharest. The stay was very good and I would definitely stay there again. The thing most impressed my about the hotel was its value for money I got and the pleasant reception staff. Some more notes below:

Room:
The room was very nice and clean, well equipped with all the standard facilities like mini-fridge, locker, heating, cable TV etc etc. no less than a 4/5 star hotel.

Breakfast:
The breakfast was western european style: croissants, sweets, fruits, lot of meat, eggs etc and dry fruits was a good extra!

Parking
We didn't need parking but I saw a big parking place next to the hotel.

Smoking:
Well allocated and very well seated smoking area in the hotel. I think this kind of arrangement works for both smokers and non-smokers. And they had some good cigars on sale there!

Restaurant:
From the meal I had, I would give a good rating to the restaurant. The quantity was bit less.

Location:
It is situated a bit further from the city center. But thanks to the cheap taxi fare it cost us around 10-12 Lei (3 euros) to reach city center. (about 15 minutes)

Wifi:
Wifi was included in our reservation. It worked well inside the rooms.
