“Average hotel”

I stayed here a couple of times being on a business trip. It is pretty close to the main train station, close to the subway, so it is easy to get around using public transportation. If you come by car, the street is very narow and hard to find. The parking consists in the hotels sidewalks and the back of a schoolyard, but I have found parking place each night, so it isn't a real problem. Anything that keeps your car safe is good, right? On the map it seems to be close to downtown, but in fact you are about 3 or 4 km away.
The stuff was very helpful, especially with the acces cards who got demagnetized several times. The rooms are small and the furniture is old and needs to be changed. Don't get me wrong, it does its work, but it gives an 'antique' air to the room. Room that can be a little more cleaner. The bathtub for example never convinced me to take a bath, a quick shower was all,
The sleep quality is good, the heating worked fine and there are no complaints here. Breakfast is very good. Actually is what convinced me to come back the second time.
As a conclusion, am good hotel for a Business trip if you can live with the problems above. For a familly I won't recommend it. nor for couples.

“Good value hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

I was in Lev-Or hotel at October 2011 for 6 nights.
The street might be a bit hard to find but the location is good and safe & quiet area.
Location: i walked to all atractions and never needed transportation (i love walking i shoud say). 15-20 mins walk to the main areas, 10 mins walk to Main train station.
Staff: friendly and most helpful for my tourist questions..
Breakfast: it was good. im Vegetarian and they have lot of non-vegeterian options.. but you can ask for the Vegeterian omlete which is very good.. you have other cold cuts to choose...the only problem i found is that for 6 breakfast it start to be boring as they serve the same everyday...
Room: mostly clean, big enough.
Internet: i had my laptop with me and WIFI didnt work from my room but they have Network connection by cable and it work well!

“Cant Praise Highly Enough”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Stayed 4 nights from 23rd.Lost my wallet on the first morning in Bucharest with everything in it.Dont know what I would have done without the staff's help, probably be still there now in some gutter on the street.Comfortable sized bedrooms with big tv,mini fridge and great central heating. Beautiful big breakfast room which served anything you can expect for breakfast and great tasting food, omellet especailly good. Also fantastic 24 hour student bar across the road were you can buy, coffee, food cigs( app £2.15 for 20). Defo will go back the next time I am in Bucharest.

Room Tip: Had room at side, could not hear anything once you closed the window.

“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2011

I staid there one night. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very far from downtown, on the map it looks like central hotel but it is not very good for city breaks.
Room was not very clean but I liked a bed and bathroom.

“Excellent hotel, friendly & helpful staff, good location, very clean”

My friends and I stayed in this hotel after searching for a hotel with triple rooms that was also convenient to the National Opera. We thought the rate was more than fair, especially since it included an ample breakfast. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the bathroom was quite luxurious (a Jacuzzi!) and immaculate. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The taxi ride to the National Opera was inexpensive, even with a driver who got completely lost and had to ask for directions three times.
