I stayed here for three nights in October. The hotel is conveniently located near Piata Universitatii, which has a subwaystation. The Lipscani district aswell as the Palace of Parliament and some malls are all within walking distance.
The hotel offers clean rooms, some with balcony, and also free wifi internet, great coffee and a friendly and helpful staff.
I would definitely stay here once again.

Tempo Hotel is a clean hotel within walking distance of the Old City and other areas of interest. Although we had a non-smoking room, it was obvious that there was smoking in the hotel. Our room was a good-sized one, equipped with a mini-bar; the prices for t he drinks were very reasonable. It came with a Queen-sized bed and had its own balcony. The AC was efficient and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and complete with yogurt, cheese and meats, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers as well as canned fruit, and fresh rolls and coffee cakes. It also included omelets made fresh. Although the staff was not very friendly (did not smile much) and readily forthcoming with advice, we found that Mimi and Dorina who were in charge of the breakfast made up with their cheeriness and helpfulness. We had asked the hotel to arrange an airport transfer for us as we were arriving late in Bucharest and the driver was indeed waiting for us and drove us quicklly to the hotel in a clean vehicle. He also gave us some information about the city itself and pointed places of interest to visit during our stay. The hotel also arranged for an early transfer to the airport upon request for a reasonable fee. The Tempo Hotel offers good value and is a clean and convenient place to stay.

Good place to stay in otherwise grey and hostile Bucharest. The staff was very helpful, despite lack of smiling. Room was clean and the breakfast was outstanding - do not forget to try the giant olives!

This hotel is very nice and clean, although the room that I stayed in was small, but sufficient for one person. Walking distance to places of interest. Breakfast is good and you could order omlette.
