Although booked in for a week, I stayed a grand total of 10 minutes in this hotel. It's located in an office block, which is kind of weird from the start - passing a corridor full of offices to reach your room. And then the room. Oh, the room! Right over a very busy road and so extremely noisy, one barely-functioning bulb (maybe a good thing, as so much remained unseen), and wonderful "nylon is best" furnishings. Unfortunately, they told me, neither the TV nor the internet was functioning, and they didn't know when it would be fixed. And no, they couldn't change my room for a quieter/lighter/functioning one - in fact were rather agressive about the suggestion (despite my smiling and ultra-polite requests). Decided there was no point in flogging a dead horse (yes, there may well have been one of those in the room too, just too little light to see it, and too much noise to hear its moans), so I took off for the Intercontinental next door - much, much more pricey, but quite wonderful in comparison.
