Room was normal chain hotel type room. Nice bathroom. However 2 tiny windows that looked directly onto the next building, I was there on a sunny day and little natural light came into the room. On arrival room must have been 30c+, immediately turned off heating and opened windows, never used heating again although outside was minus. Wi-fi in room good. Parking is in street outside hotel. Hotel is in scruffy side street, but good location for old town. Hotel staff charming and helpful. Breakfast good. Food served in bar area was solid rather than gourmet. Perhaps a little on the expensive side for Bucharest, maybe you can find better value elsewhere.

The service in the hotel was very good indeed. I didn't have any complaints on that area. The room was not big nor small, just cosy for a single visitor. The thing I like about the hotel is it doesn't have any of the glitter and extra bits that don't add anything to the actual experience, except glitter.

The breakfast is nice, the Wednesday buffet is nice, the decor is clean and straightforward and none of it tacky.

The hotel is also smallish, so it's not full of people. I definitely prefer this over bigger hotels like Marriotts, inter-continentals and the like. Here you are a bit more an individual instead of just a customer of hundreds.

Attended two major conferences here but have not stayed - nevertheless got the feel of the place and was shown the rooms that appeared very nice and have been to most parts of the hotel. Situated very centrally in Bucharest.

Clean modern environment, buffet style food that is exceptional and well over normal standards and caring attentive staff.

Only problem for me is that the bar is non smoking - apart from that, a superb hotel that is clearly well managed.

The hotel has an excellent location at the heart of historic Bucuresti. We had a very pleasant 3 nights at the hotel. The room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly. Breakfast was average (sausages, bacon and fried eggs were always cold) However be aware of the hotel's taxi driver Mr Florin Chioc. He is the most talented stand up (comedian) driver in the town. We booked the hotel's taxi to 20 Euro prior to our travel. Mr Florin has a great sense of humour and the journey from airport to hotel was absolutely hilarious. However the return journey to the airport with a regular taxi cost us only 25 lei which is almost 6 Euro. Then we realized that 14 out of 20Euro were paid for Mr Florin Chioc's performance.
