Stayed here for two nights. Was given upgrade to superior room on arrival. This cost an extra € 20 per night.

The tv did not work. There were no instructions. Eventually it was explained that " you had to switch off after switching it on... Then it works the second time". I do not joke ?

Then an alarm was set and went off at 05.00 am. That was the end of my sleep. Reception said " housekeeping did not have the time to check alarm settings?

Then I was told it was not safe to use taxies for airport. Should use " hotel taxi instead for € 25. Did not heed advice. Got hotel to call me a taxi instead. Cost € 7.

Be warned....

... for a business hotel. comfortable, reasonable breakfast. location ok also and simple to find!

Nice hotel, tipically NH! Nice rooms even if not vy spacious. I had food in the restaurant and it was OK. Free wifi available throughout the hotel. Price was good compared to the quality. I'd suggest it for business stay more then tourism as the location is not really fantastic: few nice locations walking distance, better having a car or moving by taxi

The NH Bucharest is a business hotel which ticks all the boxes for quite a reasonable price, at least for Bucharest. There's no swimming-pool or health club, it's not too big actually, but it's quite new, comfortable, and the staff is very attentive. I just had a problem during my stay: due to some works in the area, there would be no hot water between 9 and 11 AM. I had a shower well before that, at 7 AM, and the water was cold anyway. Not very nice when it's -12º C outside! But this wasn't really the hotel's fault, and I may come back again.
