I was booked in by my Romanian office and was very nicely surprised when I checked in. I was upgraded to a higher level of suite / apartment. It consisted of an open plan kitchn and dining area plus a lounge complete with large flat screen TV with access to a multitude of channels in an assortment of languages. Then there was a spacious bedroom again with a flat screen TV. The bathroom was well equiped and there was plenty of storage space.
I had access to the executive lounge for breakfast, fantastic spread and selection of cereals, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, fruit juices etc. Also in the evening I could use this lounge and have free soft drinks and snacks.
Internet connection was free and very high speed. Fantastic quality.
I really liked staying here and if my next trip is for longer I would actually use the kitchen and cook my own food.
The only down side is the beggars and prostitutes in the streets. I had been warned about them and how the children can be very aggresive and the prostitutes can be "in your face", but a firm "NO!" will see them off. Beware of the packs of street urchins which have been described to me as vermin. Having said that I felt safe here and there were numerous restaurants and bars.
In the hotel there is a gym and swimming pool, I wish I had brought my training kit and swimming trunks!
Another down side to Bucharest in general is that everyone smokes and the place is like an ashtray. There are only a few non-smoking restaurants to get relief from the smog.
