The hotel was perfect located in the old center of Bucharest. Five minutes walk to the bars and restaurants.
The room and bathroom was big but the furniture was old en the beds were to short for me (I'm 1.91m).

When we asked for a taxi to the airport, they told us it costed a 100 Lei. We told him there where cheaper taxi's so he called again and now we had to pay 27 Lei.

Nothing there was as described. Tiny, uncomfortable rooms. Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. We've been there October 2011, booked 4 rooms, one of which was supposed to have an extra bed. When we arrived at the front desk, the receptionist couldn't tell us which room had the extra bed, and he sent us up to the rooms to check!! Would never hve expected this kind of service from such a hotel!

The hotel has a very central location, very pleasant rooms, very helpful staff, good food.

Spent four nights here in September 2011. Friendly porters, civil but not friendly front desk staff, nice variety of food at breakfast. Rooms are adequate, but unremarkable. Wifi for my iPad worked only in the lobby.

What's great? Location! A short stroll brings you to ATMs, nice stores, Lipscani, Stavropoleos church and good restaurants (Caru cu Bere, Vatra, Casa Borjana.) if you view a hotel as a place to bathe and lay your head, this place is just fine.
