Upon entering the first room we were given, we immediately found an old cut apart plastic two-liter that had been used as an ashtray, filled with dirt and cobwebs, next to one of the beds. Beyond that, the sheets were stained and the closet doors were broken. So, we asked for another room seeing as this one hadn't been cleaned very well. The second room was clean enough (although it still had stains all over the comforter), but the TV didn't work and the bathroom light only sometimes came on. So we requested a third room. The TV didn't have a remote (which is needed to turn the TV on), and in looking for it, I found a loaf of moldy bread in a bedside table. So we stayed with room number two. During this time, we had an incredibly rude receptionist. I mean, she scowled at us, spoke rudely to us, and pretty much let us now that she could care less. In addition, she told us that they used to have 6 housekeepers, but now only had 3, so it's not her fault that the rooms couldn't be cleaned. "They just didn't have the ability." On top of that, their credit card machine wasn't working! They also say they have wireless internet in the lobby... they don't. Plus, the walls are paper-thin. And when I say paper-thin, I mean paper-thin. I could literally hear every word that everyone said who happened to be by our room (which unfortunately was near the elevator). Then to add insult to injury, they called us a "gypsy" cab to take us to the airport. He refused to start his meter, and he told us it was a "special flat rate". I'm sure the hotel got a kick-back from him. I've travelled all around the world and have stayed in dozens and dozens of hotels, and this is by far the worst.
