I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past few years since it was the Sofitel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, decent beds, tea and coffee in the room. The showers are OK but may need some work to deliver consistent temperatures and water flow. The most disappointing aspect is the wireless, OK, its free, but it doesnt work consistently and in a business hotel thats not good. The reception just blame the provider Orange, but really thats not good enough if they want to keep the business trade returning. I like the steak house in the lobby and the breakfast is also good. I would return here, but I would expect the WiFi to be fixed.........

I have stayed regularly at this hotel for about 10 years. It is close to the air port and had good service.
Last stay it reached its low point and will no longer stay there even if I have to go down town and take longer trips to airport. The restaurants were closed, water leaking in the main hall ceiling. All somewhat disgusting.
The french management is not up to par.

Everything OK except that the shower blender did not work; or boiling water or ice-cold water. I claimed it at the reception after the first morning, but it was not fixed for the following morning shower. Very disappointed having in mind the price level of the hotel. I would have recommended this hotel if this issue would have been taken care of correctly.

I was travelling for work one night in the hotel and i have to admit that i didn't know what to expect in Romania but i was delighted and impressed.... the building is exceptional, inside you find a very nice restaurant (i had nice dinner) , an atm!! and some shops just for the customers.... it's very close to the embassy district and with some minutes by taxi you easily go to the center...perfect for business trips....the price is balanced to the level of luxury... 20 minutes by taxi if you arrive at Otopeni...little less if you arrive at banaesa , the mainly low cost airport...
