We stayed at the Amzei Apartments in a studio apartment. The walk to the apartment was a little shady and the elevator was tiny and tricky but the studio was comfortable. The shower water was hot with a standard tub size. There was a television and a large eating room window which overlooked the streets below. It was located close to the Romana Piata. There is also a 24 hour market a block away. The only issue we had was a leaky pipe in the bathroom. Make sure you have the owners telephone number handy. He fixed it the next day. We would have like more time here.

Stayed at the Amzei , while attending a Conference .
Hotel is very good , comfortable , quiet and well located .
Rooms and level of service were also very good .
Well worth a visit .!!! Recommended .

“Great business hotel”
This is my 2nd visit to Bucharest and I prefer the Amzei hands down over the large chain hotels. The hotel has a more intimate atmosphere - more "hotel" than a B&B but much more friendly than the large hotels. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smell fresh and clean. The bathroom is very clean and the toiletries well stocked. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak English enough to converse or ask questions/directions. If work should bring me back to Bucharest again in the future, I would definitely make the Amzei my hotel of choice.
