We stayed in the Flowere Hotel for 3 nights. It is a very nice hotel all newly renovated. It is situated in a side street a short walk to the city centre.
Our room was extremely comfortable with wifi and cable internet, flat screen TV, excellent air conditioning and a very comfortable bed with nice bed linen. The bathroom was well equiped with lovely fluffy towels and toileteries provided.
Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and polite especially the barman Dinu.
There is extensive building work going on around the hotel but it did not disturb us.
The only disappointment was breakfast which has not kept up with the luxurious rooms. The coffee was provided in small nescafe satchets to which you added hot water (good coffee is important to us). The rest of breakfast was ok but very unexciting.
Having said that we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
Whilst in Chisinau if you have time you should visit the Cricova underground winery (better than Milestii Mici which we also visited). It's expensive to get in and you have to drive in in your own car (or your guide's) and to book in advance. We used an excellent guide Valery Bradu (valbradu@yahoo.com). He took us there and on other trips to monasteries and to Tiraspol and was infomative and great fun.

Largest hotel room I have ever stayed in! Very unique decor, clean, and in a quiet location. My stay was for 1 week and cost about 60 euro per day. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and the desk clerk spoke English fairly well. Small but decent restaurant. My room had a tiny balcony but huge bathroom. Super spacious room, couch, TV, free Wifi, huge bed.

My husband and I (who are accustomed to 5-star travel) recently stayed at this little gem for two week for business. We were extremely comfortable. The staff was always helpful, English speaking and eager to be of asistance. Our room was spacious very clean and the beds were suprisingly comfortable. My only recommenation, was I wish the fitness room was better equipped.
The manager Serghei Calughin, has done a great job creating and nuturing a staff that attempts to be responsive to the expectations of western guests.
We highly recommend this for a stay in Moldova.

Well its a big surprise when you get into this hotel, absolutely lovely. Just renovated, its got all the mod cons of a Western Hotel, 32" lcd with lots of english speaking channels, minibar, balcony, chair and coffee table, comfy bed, free wifi and internet etc. Staff are lovely.
Its down a dark sidestreet which has few building sites on it but Chisinau seems totally safe anyways.
Breakfast was alright, usualt buffet fayre though Girl serving asked did I want coffee/expresso/cappucino which was lovely until you realise they charge extra, something I thought was unnecessary.
Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel.
