Stayed here for 5 days. Rooms are very good and very clean. Bathroom & shower roomy with spotless towels. TV can get some English news etc. Food is good and service to match. Front Desk the staff are very helpful.

The Hotel Vis Pas looks more like a private villa than a hotel. Our room was very large, comfortable, had a full bath ( with fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers) and a balcony that overlooked the pool and gardens . The buffet breakfast was very good, and the two meals that we enjoyed in the dining room were among the best we had in Moldova.The free wifi service was excellent..
Service was outstanding. We had requested to be picked up at the airport, and when we landed, a driver from the hotel was waiting for us. We had an early departure flight; and the hotel’s driver picked us up at 3;30am and took us to the airport. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in Moldova and would recommend the Hotel Vis Pas to anyone visiting Chisinau.

We had a wedding at the hotel at the beginning of June and had most of the guests who came from outside Moldova stay at the hotel.
1. Location - quite central. A very quiet street, half a block away from the major street right behind Russian Embassy. A walk to the center of Chisinau is about 10-15 minutes and is quite pleasant.
2. Check in/out - very acoomodating, quick, efiicient, everyone at the front desk over several days spoke reasonable English. Prices are good, definitely high for the average Chisinau resident, but by Western standards is right where they should be. Front desk responded to any questions/requests very quickly. Cabs were called, towels delivered, one of my guests had to dry clean the tux, it was done in 3 hours and was delivered immediately prior to the reception.
3. Restaurant - food is amazing. One of my guests stayed an extra day so that he can eat in that restaurant - no food like that in the States. Service is spotless, non-intrusive and knowledgeable.
4. Rooms - we had several. No complaints about any of the rooms, showers with good water pressure, beds comfortable, quiet. Small balconies were a nice touch - you can sit out and have a drink there (or on the terrace downstairs...). Very elegant ambiance.
5. WiFi - very fast
Overall, everyone was very satisfied, considering that we have gathered a rather multinational crowd with different requirements for comfort (Americans, Europeans, Pakistani, Bulgarians, Russians, etc). There were no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended.

POSITIVE
For being Moldova and Eastern Europe, the service is acceptable.
Clean rooms with mini-bar.
Clean and nice bathroom.
Nice breakfast, good menu otherwise.

NEGATIVE
Only Romanian or Russian TV-channels.
Got a small room one time, not nice at all, and payed the same amount as others.
Abit high prices.

VERY NEGATIVE
The hotel management accepts prostitution in the lobby, as well as outside the hotel.
