It is really worth a "very good" but decided to go for "average" because of some lack of service.
The hotel is actually quite nice, and situated across a park. The room was OK, enough cupboards, everything clean, bed OK, pillows reasonable. The shower a bit cramped in the bath, but OK, towels fine, and very good slippers provided. BBC world was there, the tv was a bit old but that I don't mind. The food (breakfast, and had dinner room service 3 times) was actually rather good. reception girls were reasonably OK.
This sounds all great - so what did not work:
- roomservice: 1 night I had to wait 1 hour 50 minutes for a very simple order (soup and cheese). The cheese platter, when it came, was truly excellent though... when I phoned after 1 hour I was told "5 minutes" and so on. Not very professional.
- the second night I had to wait 1 hour 15 minutes
- the third night 1 hour 30 minutes - and then the food was brought by a non roomservice waiter (did not know I had to sign). All this for simple dishes when being reassured all the time that it would take 15 minutes, or that food was on its way. This night I again tried the cheese platter but the quality was distinctly less than the first night -apparantly not a standardized meal.
The breakfast - 3 times I had brealfast before 7:30, and then everything was in order.
But the only morning I arrived at 8:45 it was really awful and therefore the average rating. There was no bottled water, no tea (no teapots, no hot water, no tea bags), no jam etc. And there were only 15 people or so seated at that time! Only one time a waiter rushed through the room, said yes left and right to requests, and disappeared not to be seen again. Meanwhile, the egg-chef and cheese waitress were happily chatting and laughing with one another without chipping in or so - there was even no cut cheese available, but the lady in charge of that did not bother. So I had to eat some dry bread with nothing to drink, seated at a table loaded with dirty plates. This is really a pity since the hotel is quite good otherwise!

This is a great pleasure for me to get such a comprehensive feedback form a customer that indeed tried all its best in order to see, or rather saying not see the empty side of a glass and a guest which at the end came up with still a good evaluation, despite the "efforts" that our staff put in to solve the situation!
With such a complete and detailed description any excuse from my side will not do any good, so from every bit of professionalism that its still running trough my conscience I will take all measures and efforts that such situations to become history!
I would like to thank you for being our customer and to thank you once again for finding the time to be so explicit and present me with such a complete portrait. I can only hope that next time when you travel back to Chisinau you'll be once again our guest and I'll be more than happy to know you personally!
