Exceptionally rude, unfriendly staff... The customer service is shocking... I have stayed at this hotel previously, and after a bad experience before (I was moved around to different rooms constantly to accommodate them), I decided to give it another chance on my return stay. When I returned to the hotel a couple of months later (making a prior booking of course) I was told on arrival that there are no rooms available - i'm not quite sure what is going on at this hotel, because it does not seem to be "full". And when they rudely tell you that "you have no booking there", they then rudely tell you (no matter what the time) to go find a hotel somewhere else. How they have anyone staying there is amazing. Although they have a great location - and really, this is the only thing going for them which seems to keep them in business... The staff at the hotel make it so unpleasant, it really is a place to avoid. Rather pay a little extra money, and find another place. With a little research, there are MUCH better hotels that are coming up in the city - and which also have a great location. I have recommended this hotel (only because of the location - and I am so embarresed because of it now.)

Truely shocking hotel

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE !!!

Several days before my stay I booked a room through web form from the Hotel's web site. One day after, there were no confirmations. I called them and receptionist said to me that they did not received any booking request but she can book me a room. When I asked her do I need to confirm my stay she told me that if I am coming later than 20:00 that I should. Of course I reconfirmed the booking at 19:30 same day of "my stay". I arrived at 23:00 and the old man at the reception told me that they do not have any free rooms. When I said to him that I confirmed and re-confirmed the booking he only said, "this is the owners policy", they do not care for your confirmation, they only want to sell a free room.

Of course I was mad, and I could not believe that this could happen. He said to try in hotel Central, by railway station (I see that this is standard procedure) and nothing else.

I was offering them cooperation in long-run (to organise some meetings there). Honestly, I didn't like it but the price seamed affordable so I went there to discuss options. After a shortest meeting (the lady was interupting my every sentence!!) I wrote them a brief e-mail with all we talked about. They were supposed to send me an offer. In 4 days, no answer. When I phoned, they said they didn't get my mail... (that would be the first..!), so I forwarded it again... No answer for the next 4 days.
Sure, I gave up and found a bit pricier hotel, but very polite, good client service and professional! Avoid this one...

Approach up a little alley and you can then park in front of the hotel.
Really big room and very quiet and clean. Internet available in the foyer and a very helpful lady on reception. Breakfasts were good with wonderful bread. Amazing lounge which is like an old fashioned drawing room.
Trams stop outside this hotel but we didn't use them as it is only a short stroll to the square and shops and restaurants.
We will visit again.
