Right in the city centre, opposite the railway station, where all city tram lines make a stop. You may ask for a room on the front and watch the trains passing. Rooms are clean and comfortable, helpful staff, nice breakfast. Prices are not very high.
Suitable for all, but especially for locomotion lovers.

We traveled to and from Zagreb late at night and early morning so we wanted a hotel close to the main station. This hotel is directly across the road from the station. It's a great spot for that reason, and lots of trams to the city centre stop right in front. There aren't any restaurants near by.

The room was just average, with a few cracks in tiles and toilet seat and very 1960s furniture. Rather expensive for what we got. Breakfast was OK.

We were in Zagreb on a wet weekend, with a little bit of sunshine on the third day. Pleasant enough city which has not yet really discovered tourism, which was refreshing, but annoying - places of interest were open from 10.00 to 1.00 on weekends.

This hotel is located about 50 metres from Zagreb Central Railway Station. This alone is a major factor in deciding to stay here. Rooms were somewhat 'tired'; however, they were clean. Internet is complimentary; however, it does not work in some of the rooms. A buffet breakfast is provided and this was adequate.

I would advise not selecting a single room. I did originally and the room is in an 'attic' with no proper windows or ventilation. The room stunk! I was moved to a double room and this was well sized; however, if you open the windows expect noise from the main road outside throughout the night. The hotel switches off the air conditioning for the winter season.

To summarise a reasonable mid range property useful for those arriving by rail.

Very good position, opposite the main railway station and close to the business district; about 15' walk from the tourist centre. Furniture is not brand new, and there may be some minor flaws here and there, but the overall service is very good. Clean premises, friendly and efficient service. The breakfast is not olympic, but the choice is reasonably wide: you will not start your day hungry or upset. Free wireless connection, really fast.
