Searched many sites looking for opinions on hotels in Sofia; especially as were travelling with two small children. Came across Art Otel, and based on the fact that it had no negative feedback, apart from one guest about the breakfast, I booked the room. We were pleasantly surprised, it is very central and the reception staff were very friendly and hepful. We had a room with one large bed, enough room for us all and it was clean and bright. Breakfast was also adequate, with something for every taste, the only criticism would be the times.... a bit too short. But would recommend it to anyone visiting Sofia.

Attractive Boutique hotel, classic 20's style facade leading into a tasteful and stylish reception area.
Well sited in the heart of Sofia, only a few yards from all the main shopping areas and within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions.
All the staff that I met spoke reasonable English and check in and check out were both handled with grace and efficiency.
It is a small hotel (only 22 rooms) but it has the quality and luxury ambience of the larger 5 star hotels (but not the facilities). The rooms are of a good size, well furnished, good air conditioning and pleasing little extras. The bathroom was above average. The dining room served quality food in surroundings well up to the quality of the reception area and bedrooms.
All in all a quality hotel at reasonable prices.

Stay here most times I am in Sofia as it is very convenient for the offices I usually need to visit.
Located very centrally just off the main shopping street although it can be a bit noisy if your room is at the front on a low floor. Breakfasts reasonably good.

Stayed 3 nights in Art otel at new years' eve. The hotel is very central located 1 minute walk from the Vitosha boulevard and could visit the city centre anytime by foot. Hotel impressions: quality interior, spacious room warm enough for the cold bulgarian winter with big double bed, very helpful staff, they speak good english and are available for help, tourist info and instructions. Definately recommend the hotel for your stay in Sofia. If only interested in bed and breakfast service, is a very good choice.
