I organised the airport pick up for the hotel in advance and well worth it. Was booked into room 105 which was non-smoking put there is a faint odour throughout the hotel of cigarettes. It never really bothered me at all. tthe room was a reasonable size and not huge like some in the pictures. Room was fine and clean with excellent free wi-fi. The reception was efficient with both check-in and check-out. Food in restaurant very good and good quality. I enjoyed all the artwork throughout the hotel. I never used the Spa but it looked good. Looking forward to my return in a few months.

Nice, clean and good restaurant on top floor. Go there only if the room rate is not exceeding 130€. Bed is enormous, bathroom full of amenities. Old Tv, free wi.fi ( it was not working on my room and they did not fix it for 3 days but they send immediately technician and gave me password for the wi.fi of the other room), nice balcony. Breakfast is amazing. Soooo why not go there? Try and enjoy

Ok, not sure it's a 5-star by US or UK standards but definitely a very solid 4-star. Fantastic value through web travel sites. Decor throughout hotel (except rooms) consists of massive amounts of modern art tastefully arranged. Awesome breakfast included. great toiletries and touches. excellent restaurant--fantastic food and service and good value, views of Vitosha mountains. inside of restaurant very smoky. very nice gym, pool, steam room and sauna though membership apparently open to locals, who took up cardio machines and pool every time I wanted them. also, gym staff a bit chilly and you have to buy swim caps, even men with very little hair. elevators and hallways always very smoky. no concierge service to speak of and some items not replaced/available that you would expect at 5-star. We got upgrade due to room shortages and felt like kings of the castle in massive penthouse suite with gorgeous views--though people walking by added less privacy. chunky cheap pillows made sleep a bit difficult.

hotel is located a litlle bit far away from the city center and the old town. staff is very smart and helpfull. rooms are very good and wide. we were staying at suite room and the room was like a king suite. the room rates were really very good. we paid 540€ for 4 nights for the suite room. breakfast is rich and tasty. i would like to dvice some nice places near to the hotel for eating and for night out. Happy grill is a good idea for eating with its wide menu. Planet Bar is the best idea for night out, the bar is the most cosy place at town. Happy Sushi is the one of the best sushi restaurant i have evere ate, highly recommended. For shopping the best idea is to visit mall of sofia on the airport road.
