A typical business hotel with nothing special to remember. Breakfast was ordinary, dinner buffet very standard and the WiFI only worked at times. It is very far away from the city centre and only very helpful if you go to the business park. So holidaymakers stay clear!

I visited the Holiday Inn Sofia for business a few days ago, for one night.
The hotel is fairly new, very clean and accommodating.
The rooms are spacious and well designed, and the heating is good.
Breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of delicious things to munch on.
The little seervice I required was polite and I had no problems.
Another very iportant advantage of this hotel is the free underground parking. When the outside temperature is -5C, it is great to get into a warm car in the morning. Believe me!
Only negative I can think of is the lack of free WiFi. Use of WiFi is very expensive.
Overall an excellent choice, recommended!

I've stayed several times at this hotel for buiness purpose, the property and services are always top. My preferences are recorded, they always try their best to fulfil them. Located on a business park, the hotel has a reliable shuttle service to/from the airport. Modern, cosy, quiet, nice restaurant, large buffet for breakfast. Free access to the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness. No bad surprises ever. I'll go back!

I stayed in this hotel in many occasions and I certainly recommend it for any business traveler to Sofia. Level of service is excellent. Also the breakfast is fantastic, large choice of healthy or less healthy foods :) They also provide a brunch - buffet, excellent also in price and variety. Large rooms, clean and quiet, some of them with the view of the mountains. If you are not a business traveler, then you have better choices, as this hotel is not at all close to main Sofia attractions. In this case would be better to get a nice mountain villa or a more central hotel, because you will get nicer prices /or walking distance from main attractions in the downtown Sofia.
