Lovely hotel with great cafe where you also eat breakfast, next to KFC and city markets for great bargains and 5 to 10 min stroll to underground and all tourist hot spots. so many shops, something for everyone right on the doorstep to this hotel, where the room are a 3 star standard if not a little more, all toiletries provided and nice beds, views over the main lion bridge.there is a lift to all floors. book direct with hotel for best rates, we paid more on internet, but when we got there they had promotion of 30 euro per night !

My daughter and I spent four nights here in July. At first I regretted reserving a hotel in this location as it’s not as gentrified as some areas closer to the city centre, however we came to really like the location and would stay here again. There is a fabulous market with the flower market section just over a block away. The hotel has a new café that was just opened when we were there and was a great place to watch the locals go about their daily business. The location was convenient and we walked everywhere from here …we never had to take a bus or taxi other than to and from the airport. The bus station and train station are both under a 10 minute walk.
Our room was comfortable and I had a the best sleep during my trip at this hotel partly due to the blackout curtains. Our room had a balcony, although calling it a balcony is a bit of a stretch as no more than one person could fit on it.
This location is not for everyone but it is safe and convenient and authentic and I highly recommend it if this is what you’re looking for.
If you can, reserve in advance as there is a considerable saving over the posted rates.

The hotel is halfway between the train station and the city centre, about a ten minute walk from both. It's at a major road junction and when I visited there was some building work going on in the area, but inside it is fairly quiet.
I stayed in a 'Lux' room, which was great - very large, with a proper sofa and desk, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and had a bath/shower that worked fine.
The buffet breakfast, served in the ground-floor restaurant, was OK, and the staff on reception were at least professional.
Overall I'd be happy to recommend this hotel as a safe and reasonably-priced choice in central Sofia.
