I stayed in this hotel for a conference in late November. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the positive attitude and responsiveness of staff, the cleanliness of the room and a well equipped spa (with one caveat: the poolside cafe allows smoking for its guests, and swimming laps surrounded by cigarette smoke is one weird experience). Now for the negatives: at least two elevators out of the four were constantly broken, so going to or leaving the 15th floor required some advance planning by making the ride to the conference room on the first floor a real 15-minute morning commute. (It did make me feel at home though.) Room keycards worked on and off, and having to make the trip back to the reception for a new one two or three times every evening, combined with the elevator situation was a bit of a challenge. Altogether I can recommend the place.

We had some problems with our keycards, but the staff was both helpful and understanding. They were also helpful with things like bus and train times; they were kind in the restaurant.

The hotel is close to the train and bus station, and there are few restaurants in the surrounding area. It's quite walk to the center, but it is not far from the local market (Women's Market) and most of the sight-seeing points in Sofia.

Morning buffet wasn't overwhelming, but it wasn't acking. Most Europeans will find something for their taste.

i arrived in this hotel with an organized tour. the room was paid from abroad. to have the room we must give your passport in deposit. my wife ask for explications at the direction of the hotel - answer: we asked this for israelis only!!!
good room. full mini bar. good details like sleepers and shoehorn. 2 french channels and hebrew chain on the tv in the room.
good buffet dinner and good breakfast.
awfull chimic orange juice at the breakfast...
