Stayed there one night only but that was enough. No hot water. No heating except that one from air conditioning (which is noisy). Paid almost 60 Euro (prices can be as high as 80) and that was no fun at all. Use it only as a last resort...

i had stayed there for 4 nights... nightmare.. small bathroom, old furniture, door that dind't close, window that didn't close, small parking place (only 10 cars for a 6 floor hotel), poor breakfast... noisy but the room service exlent!!! really really good...
the price at reception 125 euros / single room.. booking throug agency 50 euros....
poor internet conection... and i mean really poor... need like 2 minute for opening google.com

I had heard that it is hard to get smoke free rooms in Sofia. But when I stepped out of the lift to go to my room I was pleased to see a notice that said it was a smoke-free corridor and there was no smell of cigarettes in the corridor or my room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The breakfast were good, real orange juice and apricot juice, croissants, three varieties of cereal, yoghurts, a small selection of cooked breakfast items, cheese and cold meats. The only complaint was that the sliced bread was a bit dried out.

The room was a good size and the air conditioning unit very quiet. The water had to be run for some time before it was hot, but it did get there, you just needed patience and not think about how much water you were wasting.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of Bulgaria.

I spent only one night in this hotel but found it to be very good. The location is excellent, and although it is an old building it has been refurbished to a very good standard. The staff I came across were charming and helpful, including waking me early and helping me out to the taxi they had arranged for me.
My room was large, comfortable and well equipped.
