The best thing about the hotel is the location - right in Bascarsija and close to everything - and the staff, which is very friendly and helpful.

The room was basic but perfectly clean and nice - with nice touches like traditional carpets.

However the walls were very thin - you could hear everything going on in the hallway and a neighbour sneezing. I haven't seen any other reviews here complaining about this though, so maybe it is only a problem in some rooms...? (this was on the top floor).

The wifi wasn't working but there was a computer with internet access in the room. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

We stayed at this hotel for a coulpe of nights. The hotels has an perfect location in the middle of Sarajevo. The staff is friendly with good english skills.
After reading one bad of the reviews (regarding bugs and unfriendly management?!), I would strongly disagree. The rooms were very clean, and after meeting the hotel manager on one occasion, my impression was very positive. Both the manager and the staff were highly service-minded.
The hotel has its own tourist office, if one wishes more information about the city and its attractions. The food at the hotel's resturant "Maroko" was excellent as well.
I would definitly recomend this hotel to others and would stay here again when visiting Sarajevo.

I spent 4 days in this hotel, but in 3 rounds and was very much satisfied. The location is perfect, two steps from the Old Town Baščaršija and some more steps from other sightseeings. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel. The staff is extremely nice, polite and helpful. They allowed me a very early check-in once, as early as around 6 a.m. My single room was always with a king size bed. The room is very nice and cosy, of decent size, nicely coloured. You have slippers in the room, but not a bathrobe. Many international TV-channels are offered. Wireless Internet connecton is faultless in rooms. The bed and pillows are very comfy. I disliked the shower, which cannot be taken-off the wall, and the soap dose, as the soap goes out so slowly and with difficulties.
The cleaning ladies could be much better - in the morning they do not do anything but the bed, don't even wipe the wash-basin, nothing. One day, when I checked-in and entered the room for the first time, I found a dirty cleaning cloth forgoten in the room at a visible place; that was very bad.
The breakfast was OK. On some mornings, not a variety of fruit, but always acceptable. The bread rolls were yummie.
There is an excelent restaurant in the hotel called Morocco, don't miss it!
I have already recommended this hotel to my friends. I had a very enjoyable stay there and I will keep recommendig it.

The location was perfect - so convenient to the old town and a lot of the sites. We were a little freaked out by the previous review asserted the presence of bedbugs but the photos online seemed so nice and the price was right so we booked anyway. No bedbugs, but the decor could use a bit of an update -- definitely looked nicer on the website than in person. But we were bedbug free :)
