My wife and I stayed 2 nights on arrival in Sarajevo prior to moving in to a flat. We had booked by phone and confirmed by e-mail but the booking had been lost and so we were not met at the airport as arranged.
We were given a very strange room (603) in what appeared to be an annex. Not a single wall was at right angles. A double bed and a single. No table or chair and just one rather cupboard for clothes. NB there is no lift.
The linen was old but clean while the towels were shabby and there was no soap in the bathroom. The room was totally quiet but, as noted in another review the bright light from the passage shines in to the room with no obvious way to turn it off unless you ask reception.
The breakfast had no hot food at all and only a small selection of ham & cheese with one kind of jam and just cornflakes as cereal.
The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke reasonable English.
The hotel is not at all easy to find on a very narrow street, but the location is convenient for the old town - about 10 minutes downhill.
If you can get a double room for EUR 35 to 40 then it's OK for a few nights but you can probably do better for the money.
