We stayed at the Zhuravinka for two nights in late October 2011. The hotel itself is difficult to spot from outside - so much so that the driver who was booked to take us from the airport to the hotel dropped us off in the wrong spot and pointed us to walk in the wrong direction. Look for the entrance that looks like a bank or office, with the ATM on the left hand side. The hotel itself is on the fourth floor. The second and third floors appear to be office space, and there seemed to be building works going on. The reception is on the ground floor, but its called the first floor under American nominclature. The room itself had a functioning bathroom, hot water, a dated look and air conditioning which didn't really seem to cool down the room. The bed itself was ok. There is a safe in the room and a small tv. For english channels, there was a choice of CNN in grainy black and whits, or BBC in colur but no functioning sound. Positively, we discovered the free wifi on our second day.
Breakfast is an interesting affair. Yogurt, cheese, bread (and accompaying toaster), juice, coffee, some sort of tomato soup. We went on the first day, but didn't go back on the second.
All in all, broadly in line with our expectations for a Belarussian hotel.
