IBB Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Minsk. The accommodation is clean, quiet, nd functional. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful and like all the people I met in Minsk, genuinely nice!
The hotel is in a suburb of town, around 15 minutes by rush-hour bus or mashrutka to Insitut Kultury metro for faster connections in the city or a bit longer to anywhere you want to go on Independence Avenue. A bus ticket costs 10p, and a mashrutka around 35p.
Breakfast is in the excellent Westfalia restaurant next door, and I recommend the schnitzel there for dinner. It is exceptional.
I loved Minsk as a city, it was completely untouched by commercialism, and really welcoming. When I get to go back, I will stay at IBB Hotel for sure!
