While I would generally rate this hotel average, I instead rated it very good considering its location (right near the metro, although a little far out from central Minsk) and that you get the feel just from being in Belarus that it is a country that misses being communist, so standards are somewhat lower. The hotel and the rooms were nice, breakfast was a huge buffet with a nice variety, and I had no problems with the staff despite my rusty Russian. The rooms were clean, although the hotel was somewhat dated, but I think that was the general state of Belarus.
