The hotel is located in a great part of the city just a few blocks from some great restaurants that also happen to be inexpensive. The rooms are nicely appointed and there is free wi-fi. The staff speaks English very well and are very helpful. The only problem, is that for the price we paid, we would have expected better climate control. Although it was October, the room was hot (I believe the bathroom tiled floors are heated) and they told us we had to open the windows since the A?C unit is hut off during the cooler seasons. If you are on the garden side, that's not a bad idea, but we were on the street side. After three nights of restless sleep due to traffic noise (car honking is prevalent in Albania), we requested the garden side for the next 4 nights and got it. Another benefit of the garden side is the balcony and a beautiful "tropic" garden. If you are a coffee drinker, there is no coffee maker, so I would suggest the filtered coffee in the lobby/bar for 1500 lek ($1.50) instead of the $3-$4 coffees.
