probably the best hotel in Tirana, but staff is dumb and without any sense of responsibility. On departure night I asked a guy in reception to give me a wakeup call; he wrote the time, I reminded him not to forget the call, because of early flight, but at 2 AM my phone was silent. Thank's God, my collegue called me to mobile phone. In 5th and 6th floor, including my room, was terrible smell of communist time diesel, and I really fancy how does look the 2** hotels in Albania ;))

Although I live in the U.S for over 13 years now, I do visit my homeland Albania every summer. I have had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton just this past summer for a business trip, but will not hesitate to stay for leisure as well. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel especially for all it offered. It is the best in Albania hands down. I have traveled all over the world and must say with certainty that the Sheraton compares to great hotels in the U.S, Greece, Italy and France. Although the price is a bit expensive I must say you are getting what you pay for. I was surprised to find a variety of channels such as CNN which kept me updated on the news and the food like many have mentioned is superb. The staff is very friendly and speak multiple languages to provide great assistance to travelers. It is great location in the middle of Tirana and everything is in walking distance. My collegues were very impressed with the hotel and I was very proud to show them my city and the great history behind it. I will be visitin again in january and will be staying at the Sheraton again. I am sure with our helpful reviews the hotel has only gotten better and I will be sure to check out the website for offers. Great staff, wonderful service and the best hotel in the country.

The Sheraton Tirana is an elegant, modern, business hotel located in the city centre of Tirana, a short stroll away from most Albanian Government buildings, and from a good selection of international restaurants.

The hotel has the customary SPG / Microsoft business centre in the lobby, with free wireless internet access and the usual facilities.

For this stay, I got upgrated to one of the club suites on the top floors, which give access to the facilities reserved for Silver level members of Sheraton's frequent guest programme, which every night offers access to a warm buffet and free drinks (including wine).

The only negative note of my stay was the shockingly slow internet connection, which is hardly appropriate for a business hotel of this level.

I believe there is an outdoor swimmingpool open in summer, but I did not see it.

The only true 5 star in tirana. Pricey, but really the best hotel in tirana. weekends much cheaper then weekdays as this is very popular hotel with business travelers. The Italian restaurant in the food court is much cheaper than the hotel yet has the same kitchen. Many good restaurants within easy walking distance. For a different experience take a cab to the stella beer factory restaurant(about 15 to 20dollars) Great Albanian food and beer.
