Seeking a small and convenient hotel in Tirana as an alternative to the big international ones I was lured here by good reviews but I do not find them justified.

The staff is friendly but that does not make up for the lack of knowledge and experience. On arrival internet did not work in the room: no wireless, no LAN. I was offered to use the computer by the reception but they could not make that one work either. In the room - what should be the desk is in reality barely a make-up table, there are no plugs next to it and so on. The reception failed to pass an important message.

But I have to admit they always failed with a big smile so it was sort of easier to swallow.

It is slightly overpriced for what it is although that is not my main concern. The location is extremely convenient if a little hard to find and there is no point in blaming the hotel for being in a barely paved dusty alley.

I would try it again if I knew they sorted out the problems.

If you don't like the big chains, this is THE hotel to stay in....

This small pearl of hotel definitely deserves the very best rating of all Tirana hotels. This was my first hotel in Tirana with no noise, it's ideally situated in a back yard of the otherwise busy Blloku area. Service is more professional than in any luxury hotel. The rooms are nice and suitable for the category. Minibar is stocked well and security is also well taken care of. I will definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of October. Usually we stay with the big hotel chains but we decided to stay here due to the reviews on tripadvisor. Initially we thought this may have been an error due to the hotels appearance on a back street, however our fears soon disappeared and over the course of our stay we became very fond of the place.

The staff are excellent. They recommended some very good restaurants and on one of the nights they even sent one of the waiters with us so we wouldn't get lost finding it. Superb. When we arrived, our room wasnt ready -no problem- but the manager made a point of seeing us the next day to apologize, which was great customer service.

The room we had was nice and a good size. We had one with a jucuzzi and it was great to relax in it in the evening after a day walking around town.

Definitely recommended - nothing like the large grand Sheraton, but small is sometimes more beautiful.
