Welcome to the Euro zone! Everything must be paid for in cash, preferably Euros, take plenty with you. My 2 minders stayed in the room next to mine. We went everywhere together, except to the former East German embassy which is now converted downstairs to a bar and rec for ex-pats. The room and ensuite where adequate, and there was a TV in the room, but could only get the local part time channels, with lots of operatic music and scenes of factories. Breakfast was unpleasent set choice of European (toast that looked as if it had ben hand burned on a flame), egs, etc, or Korean-style. This quickly got boring after a week. I wasn't allowed to sit anywhere in the restaurant, was escorted to my table in the huge dining room, and not allowed to join other groups at other tables. All in all it was OK if expensive and comparable to a 2-3 star European hotel. Avoid the hotel restaurant. By the way the hotel spells its name "Potonggang", not Pothonggang
