We really enjoyed our stay in Fare Suisse, it was wonderful to be picked up from the airport after such a long flight
and really appreciated being dropped off at the ferry port the next day. Lovely clean, comfortable rooms and breakfast
service was excellent. We would definitely recommend to other travellers.

We stayed here on either side of a trip to Moorea. We stayed here based on these reviews, the low cost and the fact airport transfers were included. It's convienently located close to the ferry port (500 m walk) and the supermarket (50 m) once again keeping cost low.

We stayed at Fare-Suisse on three separate occasions in between trips to the Marquesas and Moorea, each time in a large, quiet room with queen bed and private terrace. The free wi-fi, the use of fridge and kitchen, the cleanliness throughout, and the proximity to town and waterfront made our stay both comfortable and convenient. And thanks to Beni's timely pick-up and drop-off service, we never had to worry about getting to or from the airport, ferry terminal or cruise ship terminal.

Fare-Suisse is a gem, great value for the price, and we highly recommend it as a base for travellers in Polynesia.

Tahiti is not the place for the mainstream-adjusted tourist and neither is Fare Suisse. If you wish to get a perfect ticket into the world of Papeete, the islands or Tahiti as a whole, try Fare Suisse. I found the place very individualized, very competent, very clean and very friendly. Furthermore, you get a very outbalanced "value for money" stay: Much value, little cost (don't tell Beni or he will raise the cost...).
