We had booked this establishment more than six months in advance for a party of two adults and three teenagers. We arrived, and checked in as a group, but when we arrived at the room there was only one double bed. When I went back to reception to enquire I was told that I had only booked for one person! When I made an issue of it the reservation manager, Joseph, was recalled from his home. He too argued that we had only booked for one person, until after repeated requests to get access to my emails resulted in him getting copies of their emails and finally admitting that we had booked for 5. He blamed a previous staff member, and the fact that new management had thrown out the roll-away beds. We were finally offered another room at no charge, but this room had obviously been very recently fumigated as there was a new Rentokil sticker in the kitchen and the smell was overpowering. We were told that this was the only available room.

Having said this, there were some positives. The location of this hotel is sensational. It occupies level 6 and 7 of an office building in central Suva. Everything you could want to see in Suva is easy walking distance and the views from the room were great. Whilst management and reception staff are bizarre the 24 hour a day security staff at the front door are fantastic - super friendly with a sense of humour and they can direct you to restaurants, markets, shops etc. There is a great food court directly across the road.

More downside: TVs have almost no reception, not even any UHT milk in the bar fridge for tea and coffee, just powdered creamer, tired, worn rooms, possibly 21/2 star at best. We have found Suva a difficult place in which to find decent accommodation, but even so the cons won out for us on this one. We cancelled the rest of our stay and moved to the Suva Motor Inn.

PS Several hours after checkout one child found that she had left her new camera in the room . We rang Joseph immediately, but not surprisingly it was not located.

the serviced apartments are in a high rise building. the rooms are tastefully decorated. has small kitchen. but the management and property up-keep are bad. internet connectivity was down for days. when complained, management lied to us repeatedly about getting it fixed. there were small cockroaches to be found sometime in the rooms. although housekeeping was o.k. one night the air-conditioning failed. when we arrived for about 2 weeks stay, the staff had misplaced our reservation, although they gave us a tariff discount to compensate. but still, the hotel charges more than peers for the amenities on offer. don't take room 601, the roof air-conditioner leaks on to the floor. not satisfied. probably will not return. will check out the Suva Holiday Inn next time

If you dont like cockroaches, dirty and smelly rooms, faulty air conditioning and TV then my advice stay well clear of the hotel. The staff are nice and friendly and the kitchens are good but the whole place needs a makeover thats for sure!

Apartment was not serviced on saturday, despite being told firstly they don't service on weekends (clearly says in hotel guide it is mon-sat), and then later told it should've been.

Had to go to receptiion all three days for towels, even though they were taken out of our room.

Bathrooms in a despicable state, scum on the vanity drain, shower drain and a thick layer around the bottom of the shower cubicle.

*Cockroaches everywhere*

The business had no dishwashing liquid and could not tell who was ment to do the dishes, us or the cleaners.

T.V. and skybox did not work, sky said that channels we were ment to get were not paid for by quest..
"mini gym is indeed that, a small dark room with room only for a single treadmill.

Despite telling the reservation manager all these problems, his response was well you booked online and they didn't have our reservation. Did not address any of the other problems and eluded to the fact we were unreasonable to want the services that we are entitled to whilst staying there because we were not expected.
Would not recommend this property to anyone and will actively discourage staying there.
