The only thing I hated about this place was the marine system toilets that they have. Made me very uncomfortable going to the toilet. Plus when it rains the corridor gets all wet so can't sit outside.

We stayed in a self contained room ,the first room given to us had faulty electrics and the hotel promptly changed the rooom for us .The room had all the basic amenities and in this room the electrics worked . It is an older style motel and this is more than made up by the friendly staff who do their best to make your stay comfortable as possible.

This is something of a 'hidden gem': just out of the centre, but only 5-10 minutes' walk. And they have a quick and cheap taxi service. Large, air-conditioned and fan-cooled rooms, with basic kitchenette. Lots of stairs, so less good if you're handicapped. Quiet.
The poolside restaurant/bar is basic but good: worthwhile breakfasts, and a good set meal each evening.
This is a particularly good place to stay if you are in a family group [the pool and wataerslide are plusses], or if you're on a longer stay.
Solid value.

The Suva Motor Inn was clean and well kept considering the age of the building. The Poolside Restaurant was not the best, many of the items on the menu were out of stock and the food was very greasy. Our room had some issues with the bathroom flooding due to a leaking tub and the pillows were stained but the pillowcases, and bed sheets were clean. Joe was amazing and really made our stay at the Inn enjoyable. The Inn is located in an excellent spot - close to the downtown area and the waterfront, but still in a quiet area. A little pricey for what you get but its clean which is more than we can say for some of the other places we checked into and out of in Suva before coming to the Inn.
