This was one of our last resorts in Fiji and definitely the most unfriendly - not from the resort staff but from the other guests. Everyone here is just concerned with drinking in the sun and lounging in the pool - very boring and you could do this anywhere in the world. Plus some of the guests are down-right rude to the staff (one Australian guy asking a waitress to have sex on the beach with him) just to show you the level of what they think is acceptable behaviour here.
However if you take some of the trips and activites I'm sure it's worth it.
We stayed in a dorm and it was good. The food was a bit over-priced as are the drinks.
We stayed here after staying at Flashpackers in Hervey Bay, Australia and we loved that resort.
We would not stay here again.

Stayed here for one night during a round trip and loved this place so much! The garden and the beach... it's a small paradise! We joined a cava ceremony in the evening, a crab race and just enjoyed our time very much. Would have liked to stay longer!!

I was travelling with a small group and we shared one dormitory... we did not even lock our belongings, as we just felt safe and very well in this place!

I can't even say if price is your main concern go there, because we felt it was over priced for the whole experience.
Service was minimum, and the most annoying thing is that at the restaurant they asked us to pay before we eat! Breakfast was ridiculous, pineapples and watermelon (definitely not fresh) toasts with butter and jam, cereals, coffee.
We were 4 people sharing and we only had 2 towels, which was sorted the next day but come on we made reservation for 4. The room was spacious, very basic, so was the shower.
The gardens, the beach are ok, its quiet if you stay away from the bar. As for the activities, you can go pineapple smashing, jewelry making...the facilities seems very run down and not very well looked after i.e. we wanted to go kayaking but we had to wait until the other guests came back because they only had 2 paddles (and 6 kayaks for show?!!) and 2 of the 3 hammock were broken.
Scuba dive is really great there, you don't need to go too far to see an incredible variety of fish, includes a sea snake (black and white one).
Who would like this place? people who like to stay by the pool, drink, listen to music and play pool, and who are not too picky with service and amenities.

This resort seems to be the choice for young people wanting to party, spending most of the time half drunk and not caring about much else. Loud music, TV screens, pool bar and people hanging out in the pool with a drink in their hand kind of atmosphere. The bures are overpriced and really basic; what you pay for is a roof over your head, well... not if you want to take a shower, as this one is out in the open. The toilet was smelly and not well kept at all.
It seemed to be in a nice bay, but the beach is rather small.
