My husband and I stayed here 2 nights. Our room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the extra pillows. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. Secure, underground parking was very nice for our rental car. Shops and restaurants as well as the beach were all within close walking distance; we never drove our rental car while there. Breakfast was very nice and included coffee, juices, ham, cheese, croissants and pastries, toast, yogurt, and fresh fruits. The rooftop balcony was so nice too.; we enjoyed wine and beautiful views both nights. Our stay at Pocitos Plaza Hotel was very nice and we will definitely stay here again.

The big disappointment was finding no shuttle service as advertised from the airport to the hotel or back. It cost us $60 for an official taxi-shuttle to the hotel and a taxi ride back. For that we would have been better off staying nearer old town at the much cheaper Ibis or a quaint downtown hotel. The hotel itself had nice, large rooms with a mini-view of the river. Everything was clean and the expanded continental breakfast offered several kinds of rolls, ham and cheese, cereals, yogurt as well as juices and beverages.

We recently stayed here for two nights. The staff was friendly and the rooms were acceptable. Nothing fancy, but good for the price. Safe neighborhood is great with shops, cafes and restaurants in one direction and the beach walk in the other.

We stayed twice, once for 3 nights and once for 1 night. We liked the large room, comfortable beds, good breakfast, and friendly staff. Their English was fine, and they let us practise our rudimentary Spanish! Several good restaurants around, easy walk to the Mall, and the Rambla. Nice street fair on Sat. Underground parking was appreciated for our rental car.
