We really enjoyed our stay here. We walked in without a reservation, and had the feeling that there would always be rooms available. The front desk staff is professional. It's a real hotel and is well managed. Excellent location, good size room, good bed and linens, good bathroom with strong shower, lots of shelf space, wifi, and quiet. Also one of the better breakfast buffets that we've had in South America. The older style of the furnishings is correct for the era of the hotel, but it's well maintained and quite comfortable. $80 a night for a double - that seems to be the going rate for a really comfortable room.

I stayed in this hotel for two days and was unpleasantly surprised with how old it is. There are some charming things like the old elevator but apart from that everything asks for renovation and lots of cleaning. The whole room furniture looked ages old, used up and in need of good cleaning. The staff was in most cases friendly but sometimes the receptionists would just go about their work and ignore us. The Breakfast was very good tough and the best thing in our stay.

This hotel was comfortable, and much better inside than the street, and surroundings suggest.

Good location also. Staff very helpful & nice.
