Totally loving the Radisson. It's a splendid period building with all the interior fixtures and fittings totally untouched. The period is, of course, late 90's. Everything faintly smells of cigar smoke and faded grandeur, a Petra for the Friends generation. The restaurant on the 25th floor has panoramic views of the docks and container park. A nearly Olympic size solarium swimming pool (I would have left the Olympic bit out if I was them but that's what it says in the leather bound amenities book). Haven't tried out the slot machine based casino or ice themed basement bar. I actually do love it here, our suite's so big I didn't find part of it till the 2nd day. The Mrs isn't quite as much a fan so we're leaving tomorrow, Punta beckons. Probably lucky, much longer and I would have definitely taken up smoking again.
