Stayed here for two nights for a flying visit of the capital city. It is housed in an old colonial mansion just west of the Plaza Independencia, in the hub of restaurants/bars. The rooms and corridors of the hostel have high ceilings and are decorated in a retro-style feel. The en-suite bathrooms have style but lack practicality.
Word of warning: some rooms face over the front of the hostel, which is above some rather lively bars with many rows of outdoor seating. The rooms at the back also overlook restaurants but are quieter and more civilised. Check this before checking in.
