We have been traveling for four months and this is the worst place we stayed at! Clearly aimed at large tour groups, there is absolutely no charm whatsoever. And the staff is beyond pathetic - getting a smile out of them was a chore. It is a pity as the rooms are large (but very outdated) and the gardens lovely. They also have a huge swimming pool complex across the road.

But the food was really terrible and hospitality completely lacking! We were even kicked out of the jacuzzi because they told us we had to pay (although no one told us this)! Breakfast was seriously bad! A four star hotel? I think not.

Avoid it at all costs!

We spent 19 days in Peru and stayed in around 7 hotels all of which were lovely except the Royal Inka hotel in Pisac! The hotel looks beautiful as you drive in but the room was very disappointing and the staff left a lot to be desired. We spent the first 5 minutes in our room swatting bugs and flys - once that was done the room was adequate but that's all. Things got worse at breakfast when the lacklustre staff told us they weren't making breakfast because it was only us in the hotel! Charming! The small breakfast we did get was stale and boring. We stayed for two nights and that was more than enough - I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

although we were part of a packaged tour, were impressed by the location and cozyness of the hotel. We were tired when we arrived at night and had one of the best meals of the trip, and the next morning woke up and opened the window and it was like I was back in a Tuscan countryside. We walked to the Sunday Pisac market and the hotel clerk sent us the taxi to take us back to the hotel. The staff were always available, brought us the hot water we asked, as well as they replaced the dryer immediately. If one day I go back to the Sacred Valley, this is the place I will book.

The hotel is quite close to the main town. It is in a really beautiful valley amongst the mountains. The view from the restaurant where the breakfast is very striking. As for the rooms, they are fairly basic. Wifi is free in the rooms and the beds are large and comfortable. The bathrooms are very dated and not that inviting. The hotel has very colourful gardens. It is perfect for a one or two day stay and compared to a lot of hotels in Peru is good quality. The breakfast is a decent western buffet. The hotel is clearly catering for western tourists. It was a pleasant stay, would recommend.
