“Great place to stay”

The host, Marlisa is a great person who does everything to make you feel at home. She'll introduce you to other guests at breakfast and help you along with great information. The rooms are big and clean, though not with airconditioning, but no way you can find that at this price. Located in the cool district of Barranco.
We only stayed one night but we would have loved to stay longer, that's how much we liked it.

“Crumbs in bed and lukewarm water”

I was really looking forward to our night here as the Lonely Planet guidebook called it "immaculately clean." First, you need to wait a half hour for the water to heat up; however, after waiting 30 minutes I only had about 3 minutes of lukewarm water. Next, I was excited to sleep in an "immaculately clean" bed but when I pulled back the sheets, I saw orange crumbs! It was as if the cleaning lady was eating a cracker while changing the sheets. Gross! I dug my sleep-sack out of my backpack and nestled in for a night of honking cars.
