Although chilly (there were no heaters in any of the rooms we stayed in at Lima), the blankets were warm and the service was great, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. The rooms had plenty of space and were clean and nice. My husband even left his wallet in the hotel room, and we were able to come back and get it 3 days later, everything was still there.

We were visiting Lima with young adult kids and my parents and were looking for a reasonably-priced hotel in Miraflores that would be more than just a chain hotel. Casa San Martin was a great choice - and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. A bit like a home away from home!

I read the reviews of Casa San Martin and thought they sounded pretty good. So I booked the first night of our trip to Lima there. Well it was everything other people said and more. The owners are wonderful and helpful people. The rooms were clean and had great views. The breakfast was fresh and yummy. We couldn't of asked for a better experience!

We find this hotel on-line, and stayed on it after we return from Cuzco. The hotel we stayed first (Antigua Miraflores) was great, but it was full back them. This hotel was described as a nice boutique hotel, wich it's not.

The staff was very friendly, helping us a lot, trying to fix the problems we found there.

The hot water was almost non-existent, we stayed there for 2 nights and we had hot water issues every night. First it sundenly ended and the next day it was cease to exist... I had to take a cold shower before returning back home.

There was a leak on our bathroom and the water started to flow to the room and them to the hotel corridor. The bathroom door was poorly painted and felt dirty.

The breakfast was really good, made to order, with fresh juice and scrambled eggs.

The internet worked fine, although I didn't manage to acess from the free wi-fi connection.

The hotel is located 2 blocks from Av. Larco and very close to the mall and to the Kennedy Park.

The lady at the counter even gave us a discount due to all this problems, but I would not recomend this hotel.
