We traveled with 16 extended family members. The staff was great, accomdating and provided excellent assistance for transportation, luggage storage during our trip to Machu Picchu, and a late checkout for our departure home. The rooms are clean and it is nice to have the kitchenettes. There is a very nice grocery store 1 block away and the hotel is within walking distance many resturants, shopping districts, the Inca Market and the beach. Great strategic location in a very safe neighborhood. It is about 1/2 hour taxi ride (20 Soles) to the Lima Cathedral and Presidential Palace. As indicated, the food is good with a complimentary breakfast.

Staff bends over backwards to help! Food (dinner) was surprisingly good. Breakfast in the morning is great, too. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Free internet is great. Outdoor patio is a bonus and don't forget to check out the foosball table on sixth floor. The only downfall is the noise level of the adjacent street, but earplugs and/or a closed window work just fine.

The room we had at this hotel was pretty tiny for $70 USD/night, but the hotel staff were VERY professional, friendly, and helpful. Many of the front desk staff spoke English, but were very appreciative when we spoke Spanish. The breakfast, which is included, is European style, but very good and fresh. The hotel is well-located in Miraflores, and the staff will get you a taxi to anywhere in the city you want to go. Walking distance from many great restaurants.

We spent 6 nights here after trying a few 3 star hotels in Miraflores. La Paz Apart was good value for money at a discounted US$100 for a matrimonial suite. Street noise was modest with reinforced glass windows. Living room was a handy addition. Bathroom was large and water pressure good. Service was excellent thoughout and staff were attentive and professional. It is walking distance to centre of Miraflores and well located to several fine restaurants.
