We'd been travelling a while (8 months) and decided to treat ourselves to some fancy accommodation in Lima. There was nothing really wrong with the apartment we got but we felt a little underwhelmed after paying USD115 a night for a 5 night stay. The apartment we got was right above the little bar/kitchen area downstairs and we think they must have had some sort of contract over the weekend because there was noise throughout two of the nights that we were there. Nothing terrible but it still disturbed our sleep. It was also sited directly above the garage entrance to the hotel so you feel like you're staying next to a car park - well, you are actually.
The kitchen is seriously under-equipped - 3 pans, two small plates etc - it's not really been kitted out properly so it's a test of your patience to actually cook in it. The supplied breakfast is good though.
Fundamentally, the place is OK, we just didn't feel that it was very good value.

I stayed here for 5 nights (4 nights were in the suite room and once in the standard room)

The staff is amazing here, they are here to help and speak English generally well. Great service, great location, 10 minute walk to larco mar, you can also take a taxi (approx 3-5 soles) a grocery store (vivanda open 24 hours) 2 minutes away, hairdresser one block away,money exchange in the corner (although you can change money in the hotel for the same rate), also near Atlantic city casino.

In general:
-good breakfast (eggs, lots of fruits, cereals, lots of choices of breads, just the coffee is awful.
-Room: Suite -very large, includes fridge, sofa, stove, nice clean bathroom
-very clean rooms
- Standard room is very small but 30$ less than the suite
-excellent service, very attentive staff
-wi-fi and 2 computers available in lobby

central location, in a safe area with several restaurants close by.
Good breakfast although no filter coffee but that is common in Peru.
Beds very soft, no noise coming into the room.
Kitchen fully equipped.
Had problems connecting to the internet.
They borrowed us a power adapter immediately when we asked for it.
Downstairs is a bar, which also serves sandwiches, and two computers for free use.

We traveled with 16 extended family members. The staff was great, accomdating and provided excellent assistance for transportation, luggage storage during our trip to Machu Picchu, and a late checkout for our departure home. The rooms are clean and it is nice to have the kitchenettes. There is a very nice grocery store 1 block away and the hotel is within walking distance many resturants, shopping districts, the Inca Market and the beach. Great strategic location in a very safe neighborhood. It is about 1/2 hour taxi ride (20 Soles) to the Lima Cathedral and Presidential Palace. As indicated, the food is good with a complimentary breakfast.
